Bend 45-14 in Civil War Game
With the Civil War win the Cougars are the Intermountain Conference Champions for the fifth year in a row and are back on top of the OSAA 5A rankings. The Cougars will have a bye for the first round of Play-In games next week and will play at home against Woodburn on November 5th.

Mountain View shuts out Mazama

No. 4 Mountain View 35, Mazama 0: Cody Hollister and Jacob Hollister, 6-foot-2 junior twins, led the Cougars (3-0) of Bend to the home win over the Class 4A Vikings (2-1) in a nonleague football game Friday night.

Jacob Hollister completed 6 of 8 passes for 180 yards and three touchdowns, and Cody Hollister had five catches for 159 yards and two scores. Cody Hollister also had an interception.

Austin Sears rushed for 155 yards and one touchdown for Mountain View, which held Mazama to 125 total yards.
